Affiliate Terms
The rules of the Templify Digital affiliate program — how commission is earned, how a referral is attributed, when you get paid, and what you may and may not do to promote us.
1The program
The affiliate program lets you earn a commission on purchases made by people you refer to Templify. It is free to join and open to anyone with an audience.
These terms govern your participation. The Terms of Service and the License Agreement apply to you as well — as a user of the site and, if you buy a plan, as a customer. Where those documents conflict with these on a point about the affiliate program, these terms win.
2Who can join
Anyone with an audience — creators, educators, community managers, designers, developers. You must be at least 18, hold a Templify account, and give accurate information about yourself and how you plan to promote us.
Every application is reviewed by a person. We may accept or decline an application at our discretion and are not obliged to give a reason. Approval is personal to you: you may not sell, transfer or share your affiliate account or referral link.
You may not participate on behalf of a company that competes with Templify.
3Commission
Commission starts at 20% of every sale made through your referral link — one-time lifetime purchases and recurring subscription payments alike, for as long as the referred customer keeps paying.
For larger audiences we are happy to negotiate a higher rate. A negotiated rate applies only once we have confirmed it to you in writing, and only to sales made after that confirmation.
Commission is calculated on the amount the customer actually pays, after any discount or promotion code, and excludes tax and payment-processing fees. No commission is earned on your own purchases, or on purchases made by accounts you control.
4How a referral is attributed
Your link carries a personal code. When someone creates an account through that link, their account is tied to yours, and every purchase they make afterwards counts toward your commission.
Attribution happens at signup. If someone creates an account without using your link, later purchases do not count, even if they had clicked your link earlier. If a person could plausibly be claimed by two affiliates, the link recorded on the account at signup decides.
Attribution depends on the referred person completing signup through your link. Blocked cookies, privacy tools, a different device or a fresh browser can prevent that, and we cannot reconstruct attribution after the fact.
5Payouts
Each commission unlocks 14 days after the sale. That hold is the window in which a refund or chargeback can reverse the underlying payment.
Once your available balance reaches USD 50 you can request a payout by email. You may be paid by PayPal, wire transfer, Stripe or crypto (USDC/USDT). While the affiliate dashboard is still rolling out, payouts are tracked and processed manually, and we will contact you to confirm the details.
Payouts are made in US dollars. Conversion and transfer fees charged by your payment provider come out of the amount received. You are responsible for giving us correct payout details; we are not liable for funds sent to details you supplied incorrectly.
A commission is reversed if the payment behind it is refunded, reversed or charged back. Where a reversed commission has already been paid out, we may deduct it from your future balance.
We may hold a payout while we investigate a suspected breach of these terms, and we will tell you when we do.
6Promotion you may do
Promotion must be organic and honest. These channels are all fine.
- Content you make — tutorials, reviews, breakdowns, build-in-public posts.
- Social media posts and threads on your own accounts.
- Newsletters and email to a list that opted in to hear from you.
- Courses, workshops and communities you run.
- Your own website, blog, portfolio or video channel.
- Word of mouth, one to one.
- Disclosing that your link is an affiliate link — required by law in many countries, and expected everywhere.
7Promotion you may not do
Paid advertising of any kind is not allowed, and neither is anything below. Breaking these rules is the fastest way to lose unpaid commission.
- Any paid advertising — search, social, display, sponsored placement or influencer buys.
- Bidding on the Templify or templify.digital name, or on variations and misspellings of it.
- Presenting yourself as Templify, as an employee, or as an official channel of ours.
- Spam: unsolicited email, mass direct messages, comment or forum spam.
- Posting to coupon, voucher or deal sites, or advertising discount codes that do not exist.
- Misleading claims about what the product does, what it costs, or what the licence allows.
- Referring yourself, or buying through your own link with another account.
- Bots, automated traffic, click fraud, cookie stuffing or any other artificial inflation of referrals.
- Promotion alongside adult, hateful, defamatory or illegal content.
- Registering domains, social handles or app names containing our brand.
- Sharing your Templify account or the files you downloaded as a way of promoting us.
8Using our name and logo
You may use the Templify Digital name and logo to promote us as an affiliate, in the form we provide them and without alteration to their proportions, colours or wording.
You may not imply employment, partnership, sponsorship or endorsement beyond your participation in the affiliate program, and you may not speak on our behalf. If you are unsure whether a phrasing crosses that line, ask us first.
9Your status and taxes
You take part as an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates employment, agency, partnership or a joint venture between us.
You are responsible for your own taxes on what you earn, and for any registration your local law requires of you. We may ask for tax or identity details before making a payout where the law requires it of us.
10Ending participation
Either of us may end your participation at any time, with or without a reason, by written notice. You can leave by emailing us; we will settle any balance that has already unlocked.
If you breach these terms, we may cancel unpaid commission, reverse commission already paid, and close your affiliate account. Where the breach is minor and fixable, we will normally ask you to fix it first.
Ending participation does not affect commission that had already unlocked and was earned in good faith, and it does not affect any plan you bought as a customer.
11Changes to the program
We may change the commission rate, the hold period, the payout threshold, the accepted payout methods or these terms as the program develops.
A material change is announced by email before it takes effect, and applies to sales made after the effective date. We do not change the rate on commission you have already earned.
We may also pause or close the program entirely, in which case we pay out every balance that has unlocked.
