Legal
License Agreement
What you may do with every template, kit, prompt, section, background, 3D scene and source file you download from Templify — and the few things you may not.
1The licence we grant you
While your plan is active and paid for, 2BROS GROUP LIMITED grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use, modify and incorporate the assets you download into your own projects, personal and commercial.
You are buying a licence, not the asset. We and our licensors keep ownership of everything in the library, including every copy you download.
Some assets carry additional terms, shown on the asset page. Where they do, those terms apply on top of this agreement for that asset.
2What you may do
Under this licence you may do all of the following, in an unlimited number of projects.
- Use the assets in personal, commercial and internal business projects.
- Modify, adapt, recolour, remix and extend them as much as you like.
- Use them in work you build and deliver for a client, including the final files for that client’s project.
- Use them in a product you sell — a website, an app, a course, a game, a marketing campaign — where the asset is a component of the product, not the product itself.
- Use them in paid advertising, social content, presentations and video.
- Use the code and the prompts as a starting point for your own work, including as input to an AI tool you are using to build your project.
- Keep using what you have already shipped, even after your plan ends.
3What you may not do
This licence does not allow any of the following.
- Resell, sublicense, rent, lend or redistribute an asset in its original or a barely modified form, on its own or in a bundle.
- Publish an asset to a template marketplace, a public repository, an asset library, a Figma community file or anywhere else others can download it.
- Build or contribute to a product that competes with Templify — a template library, a kit shop, a subscription asset service — using our assets.
- Use the assets, in bulk or systematically, to train, fine-tune or evaluate a machine-learning model, or to build a dataset.
- Share your account, your credentials or your download links so that people outside your licence can obtain the files.
- Remove or alter a copyright notice, licence file or attribution that ships inside an asset.
- Register or claim an asset, or a barely modified version of it, as your own trade mark, logo or intellectual property.
- Use an asset in anything unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexually explicit involving minors, or designed to deceive or defraud.
4Client work
You may use the assets in projects you deliver to clients, and you may hand over the finished files — the built site, the exported design, the compiled app — as part of that delivery.
You may not hand a client the raw library asset as a reusable resource, and you may not give a client access to your Templify account. If the client wants their own access to the library, they need their own plan.
There is no limit on the number of clients or projects.
5Teams and seats
A licence covers one person. Everyone at your organisation who downloads, opens or works on the source files needs their own plan.
Sharing one account across a team is the most common breach of this agreement, and the one our logs show most clearly.
If you need several seats, write to contact@2brosgroup.com and we will arrange it.
6Source code
On plans that include source code, you may use, modify and deploy that code in your own projects under exactly the terms above.
You may keep it in your own private repository, and in a client’s private repository for the project you built for them. You may not publish it to a public repository, and you may not release it as a template, boilerplate or starter of your own.
The code is provided as a starting point. You are responsible for reviewing, testing and securing anything you deploy from it.
7Fonts, libraries and other third-party parts
Some assets reference or embed third-party fonts, icons, libraries, photographs or 3D models that we do not own. Where that is the case, the asset page or the files say so.
A third-party part comes under its own licence, and that licence governs your use of it. A commercial font in particular usually requires you to obtain your own licence from the foundry before you publish.
It is your responsibility to check and comply with those licences in your project. We cannot grant you rights that are not ours to grant.
8Attribution
Attribution is not required. You do not have to credit Templify in your project, in your code or in your footer.
You are welcome to credit us, and you may truthfully say that a project was built with Templify assets — but you may not use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor or are involved in your project.
9How long the licence lasts
Assets you download while your plan is active stay licensed to you for the projects you use them in, including after your plan ends. You never have to strip a Templify asset out of something you already shipped.
The right to download new assets, and to use assets in new projects, exists only while your plan is active. On a lifetime plan, that is for as long as we operate the library.
10When the licence ends
This licence ends automatically if you breach it — for example by redistributing an asset or sharing your account.
It also ends for the assets covered by a payment that is refunded or reversed, from the moment the money is returned.
When the licence ends this way, you must stop using the assets, remove them from projects still under your control, and delete your copies. Work you had already delivered to a third party in good faith before the breach is not affected.
11No warranty
The assets are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise that an asset is error-free, that it works with a particular tool, framework or version, or that it meets any accessibility, performance or legal standard applying to your project.
You are responsible for testing and adapting anything you use, and for the compliance of what you publish. Our liability is limited as set out in the Terms of Service.
12Contact
Licensing questions, extra seats and unusual use cases go to contact@2brosgroup.com. If you are not sure whether something is allowed, ask — we answer plainly.
